titleOfInvention | Process for dyeing synthetic linear polyamides in the dope |
abstract | Synthetic linear polyamides can be dyed in bulk by means of 1:2-chromium complexes of o,o'-dihydroxy monoazo dyes which contain a sulphonamide group and another non-water-solubilising group or an alkane sulphonyl group which is reactive with fibres. True dyeings, which are stable to wasing, rubbing, dry cleaning and light are obtained. The use of 1:2-chromium complexes of dyes of formula where Y is a substituted sulphonamide groups and B is (a) a benzene or naphthyl residue with an OH group in the o-position to the azo bridge, and possibly with other substituents, or (b) a l-aryl 3-methylpyrazole 5-one 4-yl residue in which the aryl residue is derived from the benzene series, is claimed. The complexes may be uniform or mixed complexes. |
