titleOfInvention | Means to increase the speed of learning and to prolong the retention of the learned behavior in animals |
abstract | Compositions contg. the compd. (I) together with a non-toxic alkaline earth metal base having a solubility product constant of less than 10-4 (e.g. Mg(OH)2, MgCO3, Ca(OH)2, CaCO3 or Al(OH)3) the ratio of base: drug being at least 0.05 mole:1 mole. Enhances the learning rate and retention level at doses below those at which CNS stimulation is effected. The base potentiates the action of the drug. |
