abstract (A) Morpholine derivs. - (I) R1 and R2 are same or different H or alkyl (C1-C3) - R3 = H, alkyl (C1-C6), alkenyl (max C6) or cycloalkyl (max C6) - X = opt. substd. aryl residue - (B) Acid addition salts of (I) with suitable inorganic and organic acids. - (I) have a tranquillising effect on the C.N.S. of mammals and are suitable in the treatment of fear, neurotic conditions and epilepsy in humans. Some (I) also have thymoleptic activity and are valuable in the treatment or prophylaxis of depressive diseases in humans. - 4-isopropyl 2-(naphth-1-yloxymethyl)-morpholine hydrogen oxalate.
