abstract Title cpds. of formula (where R = alkyl, phenyl X = Cl, Br, I) are prepared in improved yield by reacting 6-dimethylamino-quinolidinomethyl halide with 2,5-dimethyl-1R-3-pyrrole carboxaldehyde using a 50% aq. soln. of zine chloride as catalyst. Their salts with nitroimidazoacetic acids are also prepared. The cpds. are active against Enterobius and Strongloydis nematodes.
