Espec. the cpds. in which: R = H, X=C(CF3)2NH2, H, CH2OH, CH2NMe2, CH2OCH2OH, Z's = F R=H;X=CF(CF2H)NH2, H, Z=Z2=F Z1=Z3=H R=Et, X=H, Z's=F. The cpds. are CNS-depressants. Useful in treating neurological and psychiatric disorders and in obtaining relaxation under general anaesthesia.
