Urea derivs. of formula (I): (where X1 and X2 are H, halogen or CF3, Y1 is H, is not >12C alkyl or alkoxy, cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-(1-4C alkyl) or CF3, and Y2 and Y3 are H when Y1 is other than alkyl and are H or >= 12 C alkyl when Y1 is alkyl), which have broad-specturm antibacterial activity and are odourless and colourless, are used for combatting injurious microorganisms (other than in the textile industry), e.g. in technical products of all kinds, in plant-protection, agriculture and veterinary medicine, and in cosmetics. |
