abstract | Artificial tooth consists of a part made from a ceramic material and a part made from a synthetic resin joined together chemically by means of a silane or silane or siloxane binder. The part made from the resin forms at least a part of the tooth surface in contact with the base of the prothesis, and longitudinally extends therefrom to at least a half of the length of the lateral, mesial and distal surfaces. The remaining parts of the tooth surface are formed by the part made from the ceramic material. |
