titleOfInvention | Linear polyamide stabilized against the degradation effects of heat |
abstract | Polyamides are stabilised against heat by means of a stabilising composition which contains (1) one or more diphenylamines which are substituted by a (cyclo)-alkyl and/or aralkyl group in each p-position in relation to the amino group, and (2) one or more acids of the formula: where R is H or a (cyclo) alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or OH group, and/or one of more salts and/or esters of such acids. The stabiliser components have a synergistic action. The use of copper stabilisers is avoided. More uniform effect are obtained when the polyamides are dyed. |
