Are new cpds. of formula (I) (where R1 is a C1-6 aliphatic or cycloaliphatic, satd. or unsatd. hydrocarbon residue opt. with ether-type substitution or substd. by halogen, R2 is H or a C1-6 aliphatic or cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon residue, R3 is H or C1-6 alkyl and R4 is C1-10 alkoxy or an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic, satd. or unsatd. hydrocarbon residue opt. with ether-type substitution or substd. by halogen). The cpds. are herbicides and can be used for pre- or post-emergence control of mono- and dicotyledonous weeds. They can be used in high concns. as total herbicides and in lower concns. as selective herbicides.
