abstract A sealing cpd. for tubed or tubeless tyres is composed of : raw natural rubber 500, masticated rubber 750, anti-oxidant (pref. N-phenyl-N1-isopropyl-p-phenylene diamine) 20, MgO 100, ZnO 130, polyester resin (pref. from glycerol and polymerised rosin) 400, polyterpene resin (pref. low-viscosity 250, high viscosity pinene resin 950) 1200, petroleum ether 3600, gas oil 2400, pine tar 50, ethanol 60, flake graphite 10,000, powdered graphite 8000 pts. It is injected intot he tyre through the valve by compressed air before the puncture occurs and remains permanently active.
