titleOfInvention | Resistant preparation for printing on artificially created oxide layers on aluminum and aluminum alloys |
abstract | Printing compsn. for use on surfaces consisting of oxidised Al or Al alloy consist of (I) at least one org. solvent, (II) a viscosity regulating agent, which is soluble to swellable in both org. solvents and water, and (III) a low mol. wt., water-insol. hydrophobic material, which is non-volatile below 100 deg.C. The method is used for producing decorative effects on oxidised Al and oxidised Al alloy surfaces. In comparison with printed effects produced by conventional inks and lacquers, the present layers have a much improved resistance to friction, together with good sharpness. |
