abstract | a) 2.3.4.4a.5.6-Hexahydro 1H-pyrazino (1.2-a) quinolines (I): R1 = H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, CF3, hydroxy or halogen. R2 and R3 = H and/or alkyl; m, n and p are integers less than 3; R = aliphatic, cycloaliphatic-aliphatic- or araliphatic hydrocarbon residues which carry only H and/or C-atoms at the alpha-position and which contain a free-, etherified- or acylated hydroxy group in the aliphatic residue. The aromatic residue may be further substituted by e.g. lower alkyl, halogen, CF3, lower alkoxy, alkenyloxy, amino, acylamino, nitro or free- or acylated hydroxy. The acyl groups may be derived from a lower fatty acid, lower phenylalkane- or aromatic carboxylic acids opt. substd. in the aromatic nucleus. b) Acid addition salts of (I) with inorganic and organic acids. The compounds may be in the form of optical antipodes, racemates or mixtures of cis-trans isomers. The new compounds have adrenolytic- and sedative activity and esp. antihypertensive activity. |
