titleOfInvention Process for the production of reactive dyes
abstract Reactive dyestuffs of general formula where F is the radical of a dyestuff or coupling compound; R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, are from H, lower alkyl, halogen; X is from -NR-CO-(CH2)m-1, -NR-CO-CH=CH-, -CO-NR- and a -SO2NR- (R is H or lower alkyl, m is 1 -4) when F is the radical of a dyestuff, and X is -N=N- when F is coupling compound. The water-souble dyestuffs are suitable for dyeing leather, vegetable and animal fibres, regenerated cellulose, casein fibre, and synthetic polyamides. The dispersion dyestuffs are suitable for dyeing fibres of cellulose esters and ethers, polyesters, polyurethanes, polyacrylonitriles and in particular polyurethanes, polyamides, and polyacylics which have been modified by the introduction of basic groups.
