abstract Provided herein are methods of improving glycemic control, reducing weight, decreasing urine albumin:creatinine ratio (UACR) and/or treating diabetic kidney disease (DKD) in a human patient with DKD and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) comprising administering a GLP- 1/glucagon agonist peptide such as Cotadutide. Provided herein are also methods of improving glycemic control, reducing weight, decreasing urine albumin:creatinine ratio (UACR) and/or treating chrnoic kidney disease (CKD) in a human patient comprising administering a GLP- 1/glucagon agonist peptide such as Cotadutide.
