abstract The present disclosure relates to a separation device (1) to separate contaminants from contaminated water. It comprises a container (2) to receive the contaminated water. The container (2) further comprises a contaminated water inlet (3), a filter (5), a presser (6) for compressing and/or dewatering contaminants separated from the contaminated water, and a contaminant outlet (4). The container (2) further comprises a gas inlet (7) for generating gas bubbles (8) into the contaminated water to further separate contaminants from the contaminated water. The present disclosure relates to a use of such a separation device (1) and a method of separating contaminants from contaminated water.
