abstract |
The invention relates to a method for providing electrically insulating and anticorrosion coatings on an electric strip using a phosphate-free aqueous dispersion. The invention also relates to one such aqueous dispersion which is particularly designed to provide coatings that are anticorrosion and electrically insulating on electric strips. The aqueous dispersion of the invention is substantially free of phosphates and organic compounds and comprises silicates dissolved in water as an inorganic binding agent forming the coating, and a mixture of oxidic pigments of the elements titanium and aluminium. The invention further relates to a laminated electric strip which is produced from the electric strip produced according to the invention or the electric strip coating with an aqueous dispersion according to the invention. |
