titleOfInvention Rubber composition for downhole tools and member for downhole tools
abstract Provided is a rubber composition for downhole tools which has superior decomposability and storability. This rubber composition for downhole tools contains a decomposable rubber, a decomposition-accelerating agent, and a decomposition-inhibiting agent. The decomposition-accelerating agent is at least one compound represented by formula (I) or (II). The decomposition-inhibiting agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of carbodiimide compounds, oxazoline compounds, oxazine compounds, and epoxy compounds. The contained amount of the decomposition-accelerating agent is 0.1-20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the decomposable rubber. The contained amount of the decomposition-inhibiting agent is 0.1-3 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the decomposition rubber.
