Provided are a method for manufacturing a beverage having an improved flavor and a method for improving the flavor of a beverage. The method for manufacturing a beverage comprises using a starting material which contains hop harvested on the day when at least 51 days have passed since flowering. The method for improving the flavor of a beverage comprises, in manufacturing a beverage with the use of a starting material containing hop, using hop harvested on the day when at least 51 days have passed since flowering as the hop so as to improve the flavor of the beverage. |
