abstract |
In order to provide a method of manufacturing membrane protein, in which a step for solubilizing the membrane protein is not necessary and with which it is possible to obtain high-quality membrane protein at a high yield, a form of the present invention includes: (a) a step for preparing a cell-free protein-synthesis reaction solution that contains template nucleic acid coding for the membrane protein, lipid, and a surfactant at a concentration that is equal to or greater than a critical micelle concentration; and (b) a step for synthesizing the membrane protein in a state in which the surfactant concentration in the aforementioned reaction solution is maintained at a concentration that is equal to or greater than the critical micelle concentration. |
