abstract |
Point changes to the 3'UTR nucleotide sequence of the VEGF gene which significantly increase the lifespan of the mRNA transcription product of said gene in mammalian cells have been identified. A gene construct with an optimal list of the identified mutations, which is characterized by a maximum mRNA lifespan, has been selected by experimentation. The biological effect of the gene construct developed and of a pharmaceutical composition based thereon have been confirmed in vitro and in vivo. |
