The present invention pertains to a solid food consisting essentially of a sweetener consisting essentially of a D-allulose syrup, a native protein, and optionally at least one additive selected from the group consisting of nuts; chocolate; cocoa butter; emulsifiers; dietary fibers; vegetable oils; salt; additional sweeteners selected from the group consisting of glucose syrup, fructose syrups, Stevia, and sucralose; flavorings; colorants; vitamins; minerals; and mixtures thereof wherein the D-allulose syrup is a concentrated solution of 50 to 98 wt.% of D-allulose, and 2 to 45 wt.% fructose, based on a dry matter content of the syrup; the D-allulose syrup represents from 15 to 60 wt.% of the food product based on the total weight of the food product, and the native protein represents from 15 to 45 wt.% of the food product, based on the total weight of the food product and the solid food does not contain glycerine. |
