abstract The invention relates to a method for executing tasks of a real-time application on a multitasking computer, comprising steps of: definition of time windows each associated with the execution of a processing of a task of the application , assigning to each processing having a time window, a time quota (QA1, QA2, QA3, QB) and a time margin (MA1, MA2, MA3, MB), the time allocated to processing by the quota time and the time margin, being less than the duration of the time window of the processing, during the execution of the application, activation of each treatment at the beginning of the time window with which it is associated, at the end of the time quota of one of the treatments, activation of an error mode if the execution of the processing is not completed, and if the error mode is active for one of the treatments, execution of a error handling for processing, during the remaining time allocated to the treatment nt by the time quota and the time margin.
