titleOfInvention | Method for producing sulfonyl chloride compound |
abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an intermediate which can be used in a method for producing a sulfonylpyrrole compound that is useful as a medicine. The present invention relates to a method for producing a sulfonylpyrrole compound (VI), said method comprising: reacting a pyridine-3-sulfonic acid compound with phosphorus pentachloride in a solvent that is chlorobenzene or trifluoromethylbenzene to produce a pyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride compound; then reacting the pyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride compound with a compound (III) without isolating the pyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride compound to produce a compound (IV); and then subjecting the compound (IV) to a reductive amination reaction to produce the sulfonylpyrrole compound (VI). (In formula (III), R2 represents a hydrocarbon group or the like; and R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom or the like.) (In formula (IV), R1 represents a pyridin-3-yl group which may be substituted; and other symbols are as defined above.) (In formula (VI), R5 represents an alkyl group; and other symbols are as defined above.) |
