titleOfInvention Intravenous medication delivery system
abstract The present invention relates generally to delivery devices including medication containers, medication trays, valve trays, intravenous delivery trays, a medication delivery unit for delivering a medication, and methods of making and using such delivery devices. Medical treatments often involve solutions or suspensions of drugs or other medication to be injected into the human body. Mixing and injecting such solutions can be extremely expensive and inaccurate. Thus, a medication tray is provided that has a chassis for holding at least one medication container, a communication interface in communication with the medication container, and a controller to control the delivery of the medication via intravenous tubing.
