abstract |
Disclosed herein is a method for obtaining feature binding data, including obtaining a microarray, contacting the microarray with a sample including a plurality of ligands at a concentration <=10 µg/ml under conditions promoting ligand binding, and imaging the microarray to identify binding of the plurality of ligands to the microarray features. The microarray includes >=100,000 features/cm2, and has an area <=150 mm2. The sample has a volume <=25 µl. Each of the features includes a collection of peptides wherein the collection of peptides is characterized by an average length >=5 coupled amino acids and characterized by an average coupling efficiency for each amino acid coupling step of >=98.5%. A coefficient of variation of data obtained from the microarray is not >5%. Imaging includes identifying binding of >=100,000 ligands to the microarray features. |
