titleOfInvention Method for curing a continuous mat of inorganic or plant fibres
abstract The process comprises successively an application of an aqueous solution containing a binder diluted in the solution, on mineral or vegetable fibers, shaping the fibers into a continuous mattress on a moving conveyor, and heating the mattress running in an oven by hot air flow at a temperature above the curing temperature of the binder. In addition, is performed at least a partial drying of the mattress and prior to entry into the oven. Said at least partial drying includes irradiation of the moving mat by radiofrequency electromagnetic waves whose frequency is between 3MHz and 300GHz.
