A method for spreading a plurality (M) of data symbols (d s ) onto subcarriers (N) of a carrier signal for a transmission in a transmission system (400) provides a data vector (d), comprising the plurality (M) of data symbols; and generates a spread data vector (x) based on the provided data vector (d) and a spreading matrix (D), with the spread data vector (x) comprising a length, which corresponds to the number (N) of subcarriers and with the spreading matrix (D) being based on a spreading allocation matrix (T), a base spreading matrix (C), and a randomization matrix ( V). |
