A composition for forming a protective layer on a substrate comprises a plurality of silicas having different particle size ranges, and a curable resin. The substrate may be a building substrate such as a floor or wall concrete, blocks or bricks. The silica is typically white or colorless crystalline compound, SiO2, occurring abundantly as quartz, sand, flint, agate, and many other minerals used to manufacture a wide variety of materials, especially glass and concrete. |
