abstract | The present invention describes a new hydrating composition comprising a mixture of esters of one or more alkoxylated polyols, used in the formulation of skin cosmetics. The composition of the present invention may be in the form of a solid or of a liquid, in the latter case comprising, furthermore, one or more surfactants, emollients and, optionally, water. The hydrating composition described in the present invention is compatible with a wide variety of emollients and other ingredients used in cosmetic formulations and has been shown to be capable of keeping the skin hydrated for 24 hours. |
