The present invention relates to an adherent interface dressing intended to be applied directly to a wound. The adherent interface dressing comprises a non - adherent, cohesive gel formed of a hydrophobic elastomeric matrix consisting of a triblock elastomer of the styrene - (ethylene - butylene) - styrene or styrene (ethylene - propylene) - styrene type, optionally combined with a diblock copolymer of styrene - (ethylene - butylene) or styrene - (ethylene - propylene) type; said elastomer being strongly plasticized by means of a mineral oil, and dispersively containing a small amount of hydrophilic particles of a hydrocolloid; and a flexible open-knit fabric, said fabric comprising yarns which are coated with the non-adherent cohesive gel so as to leave the stitches substantially unclosed, characterized in that the fabric is a heat-knit knit with screen yarns, said yarns being continuous filament yarn with non-elastic filaments, which has in the transverse direction an extensibility measured according to EN 13726-4 of between 0.01 and 0.5 N / cm. |
