Additionally, at least one label (104, 104') is used, wherein the label (104, 104') is different from the analyte (117), wherein at least one diffusion of the label (104, 104') in the sample (110) or at least one constituent of the sample (110) is detected. At least one piece of correction information is generated from the diffusion of the label (104, 104'), wherein the concentration of the analyte is determined from the reaction of the test chemistry (102) with the analyte while taking into account the piece of correction information.
