Antagonist peptide of the bond between cd47 and a protein belonging to the thrombospondin family |
abstract |
The invention relates to a peptide antagonizing the binding between a cellular receptor, CD47, and a protein belonging to the thrombospondin family (TSP). The peptide according to the present invention has the SI sequence R1-R2-R3-SQLLKG-R4-R5-R6 and specifically interacts with the C-terminus of the TSP, at the binding site between said TSP and said CD47 receptor , so as to prevent an interaction between said CD47 receptor and said protein. The peptide according to the present invention can be used in the context of cancer treatments. |
