abstract |
The present invention provides a process for the preparation of morpholinyl anthracycline derivatives having the general formula (I) in good yields and purity, including 3'-deamino-3" -4'-anhydro-[2"(S)-methoxy-3"(R)-hydroxy-4"-morpholinyl] doxorubicin. The derivatives are useful as therapeutic agents, particularly in the treatment of cancer. (see above formula) |
