Disclosed is a carbon catalyst having an excellent catalytic activity on the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Specifically disclosed is a carbon catalyst (10) for use in the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, which is produced by carbonizing a raw material comprising an organic compound that acts as a carbon source, a metal and an electrically conductive carbon material to produce a carbonized material, impregnating the carbonized material with a metal and heating the resulting product. |
