The present invention relates to a process for producing hydrogen from a hydrocarbon feedstock and water vapor comprising: a step of production of a synthesis gas in a steam reforming unit of the hydrocarbon feedstock in the presence of water vapor, a fuel bringing the necessary heat to the reaction, a step of conversion to steam of the synthesis gas obtained in step previous producing a flow of hydrogen containing methane and dioxide of carbon, a step of capturing the carbon dioxide present in the stream obtained at the steam conversion step to separate the carbon dioxide hydrogen flow, a step of capture and recycling, towards the steam reforming of impurities present in the hydrogen stream, comprising a decompression phase. |
