abstract |
The rare earth phosphate (Ln) of the invention, Ln representing at least a rare earth chosen from cerium and terbium, lanthanum in combination with at least one of the two rare earths, has a crystalline structure monazite type with a potassium content of not more than 6000 ppm. Phosphate is obtained by precipitation of a chloride of rare earth at pH kept constant less than 2 then calcination at least 700 ° C and redispersion in hot water. The invention also relates to a luminophore obtained by calcination at at least 1000 ° C. phosphate. |
