A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for optical film, which comprises an acrylic triblock copolymer (I) and an isocyanate compound. The triblock copolymer (1) is represented by the formula: A1-B-A2, wherein alkyl methacrylate polymer blocks (A1) and (A2) having a Tg of 100°C or higher are bonded to an alkyl acrylate polymer block (B) having a Tg of -20°C or lower. Further, the triblock copolymer (1) has a content of the block (B) of 40 to 95mass%, an Mw of 50,000 to 300,000, and a molecular weight distribution of 1.0 to 1.5, and is free from NCO-reactive functional groups. In the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, the content of the triblock copolymer (1) is 60mass% or higher, and the content of the isocyanate compound is 0.0015mass% or higher and below 0.35mass% in terms of NCO content, each percentage being relative to the mass of the solid matter contained in the composition. |
