abstract | Methods of froth flotation for the beneficiation of an ore that use a collector and compositions and kits that include a collector. In some examples, a method of froth flotation for the beneficiation of an ore can include contacting a slurry that includes an ore with a collector and recovering a beneficiated ore. The collector can include one or more compounds or salts thereof having at least two C10-C24 structures crosslinked by an ether linkage and having an acid value of about 50 mg KOH/g to about 400 mg KOH/g. In some examples, a composition can include the collector and at least one of a frothing agent and a depressant. In some examples, a kit can include the collector and at least one of a frothing agent and a depressant. |
