Biomarkers for alzheimer's disease |
abstract |
The present invention pertains to the domain of Alzheimer's disease (AD), and provides new genetic markers for this disease, distributed on 17 genes. Some of these markers can also be used for predicting an increased risk of developing an early-onset form of Alzheimer's disease. The invention also pertains to a method for in vitro predicting an increased risk, for an individual, of developing Alzheimer's disease, by SNP genotyping. Kits for performing the method are also part of the invention. |
