| abstract | The adhesive dispensing product comprises a coherent piece (1) of carrier sheet material with two opposite surfaces (3, 5), one of which is a first release surface (3). The piece (1) of carrier sheet material has two opposite lateral side edges (4). A plurality of individual adhesive segments (7) are present on the first release surface (3), which adhesive segments (7) each has a circumferential surface (13), and the circumferential surfaces (13) of adjacent adhesive segments (7) are separated by a distance (S) of at least 0.5 mm. The adhesive segments (7) feature a first adhesiveness relative to the first release surface (3) allowing the adhesive segments (7) to be dispensed from the first release surface (3). The adhesive dispensing product further comprises a plurality of individual pieces (11) of cover sheet material, which cover sheet material has two opposite surfaces, one of which is a second release surface (9). The adhesive segments (7) feature a second adhesiveness relative to the second release surface (9) allowing the adhesive segments (7) to be dispensed from the second release surface (9). Each of the pieces (11) of cover sheet material covers a number of said adhesive segments (7). The second release surface (9) of the pieces (11) of cover sheet material comprise a margin (12) extending beyond at least a part of the circumferential surface (13) of the respective adhesive segments (7). |
