abstract The present invention relates to a novel route of synthesis of acrylonitrile from a renewable raw material and has more particularly for a process for producing acrylonitrile by reaction of ammoxidation of glycerol in the gas phase. The process can be implemented in a single step, or the glycerol can be submitted before a step dehydration. The acrylonitrile thus obtained meets the criterion of chemistry green.
