abstract The invention encompasses methods for reducing food effect in a drug which exhibits such food effect by preparing a formulation comprising a drug which exhibits food effect and at least one biodegradable binder or lipophilic binder. The invention also encompasses a method for preparing a formulation having a target food effect comprising (a) determining a target food effect; and (b) combining an API which exhibits food effect and a sufficient amount of (i) at least one biodegradable binder, (ii) at least one lipophilic binder, or (iii) combinations thereof, to produce a formulation having the target food effect.
