titleOfInvention Biosensor unified with needle
abstract It is intended to provide a biosensor coupled with a needle which can be easily assembled owing to its simple constitution while maintaining a high strength, by which a sample body fluid can be surely collected without waste, in which a puncture needle is not contaminated with a reagent layer, and which can be conveniently packaged and easily carried and remains sanitary even after using. It is also intended to provide a biosensor coupled with a needle which can be easily assembled without lowering its strength and by which a sample body fluid can be surely collected without waste while preventing a puncture needle from contamination with a reagent layer. A biosensor coupled with a needle comprising a puncture needle penetrating into the skin of a subject for collecting a body fluid and the body of the biosensor for analyzing the body fluid which have been integrated together, wherein the puncture needle perpendicularly moves and passes throughout the biosensor body due to a driving means outside to thereby penetrate the skin. A biosensor coupled with a needle which is composed of a biosensor comprising an electrically insulating baseboard, a cover, a spacer located in a space between them, electrodes and a reagent layer and a puncture needle penetrating into the skin of a subject for collecting a body fluid integrated together, wherein a thorough-hole of the puncture needle is provided in the cover member forming a blood collection port which is located at the edge in the longitudinal direction of the biosensor.
