abstract The invention relates to multi-layer films for back-injection moulding with a liquid plastic in an in-mould process for producing a decorated injection moulded article of high optical quality and service performance, in particular with curved surfaces. According to the invention, the multi-layer film (1a) has at least one replicated paint layer (2), at least one surface of which comprises a 3D structure (3) that creates a visual and/or technical effect. At least some sections of a contrast layer (4) adjoin at least one surface comprising the 3D structure (3), said layer being preferably configured as a reflective layer. The invention also relates to an injection moulded article that is decorated with a multi-layer film and to a method for producing the same.
