abstract There are provided an infiltration inhibitor and inhibiting method capable of inhibition of the tissue infiltration of leukemia cells, as well as a cell killing agent and cell killing method to CD43 expression cells, comprising application, to selectin ligand sugar chains expressed on cell surface antigen CD43, of as an inhibitor of binding between sugar chain capable of binding with selectin and selectin or a cell killing agent (1) siRNA capable of inhibiting through RNA interference any expression of gene associated with the expression of selectin ligand sugar chains and cell surface antigen CD43, (2) a sugar chain synthesis inhibitor, such as a pseudo substance to substrate for sugar chain synthesis, (3) an enzyme capable of decomposing selectin ligand sugar chains and cell surface antigen CD43, (4) an antibody against selectin ligand sugar chains and cell surface antigen CD43, etc.
