A biocompatible membrane that can be used in fields, such as dentistry, dental surgery and orthopedic surgery, and has a configuration highly suitable to affected area is provided by a process for producing a biocompatible membrane in which a laminated shaping technique or powder electrostatic coating technique is applied to a biocompatible material. The above laminated shaping technique is, for example, (a) powder shaping by laser, (b) powder sticking laminating, (c) melt deposition, (d) thin sheet laminating, (e) optical molding, etc. The biocompatible membrane is useful as, for example, a tissue regeneration membrane or bone regeneration membrane for use in tissue regeneration treatment for the periodontal tissue, bone tissue, etc. |
