abstract |
The present invention provides methods for diagnosing, monitoring and evaluating asthma and asthma control in subjects by determining the level of at least one oxidised form of vitamin E or a derivative or metabolite thereof in a non-lung derived body fluid or tissue. The methods of the present invention are useful in determining appropriate asthma treatment for subjects and, as well, in evaluating the efficacy of asthma treatment regimes in subjects. |
