Apparatus and method for delivering water vapor to a gas |
abstract |
An apparatus (100) for delivering water vapor to a gas is includes a plurality of hollow fiber membranes (135), each defining a passage for the flow of gas from an upstream end of the passage and enclosed by an enclosure.(210). The hollow fiber membranes (135) have a combined surface area of about 90 to 110 square cm. The enclosure (210) includes an air inlet (115) and air outlet (110) for directing air to and from the passages of the hollow fiber membranes (135). The enclosure (210) also includes a water inlet (125) and water outlet (130) for directing water to and from the outer surfaces of the hollow fiber membranes (135). |
