abstract | It is intended to increase the protein produced by the recombinant DNA technique with the use of mammalian cells. Transcription can be accelerated by culturing at moderately low temperature with the use of, as an enhancer, a moderately low temperature transcription control element comprising the nucleotide sequence: x1ccccx6x7x8 (wherein x1 represents t, g or a; x6, g, a or c; x7, c, a or t; and x8, c, a or t) or at least one nucleotide sequence complementary to this sequence. Further, translation can be accelerated by culturing at moderately low temperature with the moderately low temperature translation control element of SEQ ID NO: 6 disposed at 3~-side of promoter at 5~-side of the code sequence. |
