abstract |
A silyl linker that can be efficiently introduced in a solid-phase support for use in the synthesis of nucleic acid oligomers such as DNA. There is provided a silyl linker for solid-phase synthesis of nucleic acid, comprised of a compound of the general formula: H-(R1)Si(R2)-(C6H4)-CONH-(A)-COOH (I) (wherein each of R1 and R2 is an alkyl or aryl, and (A) represents a spacer moiety), or a salt thereof. There is further provided a 3~-end nucleoside unit having the above compound linked via an oxygen atom to the 3-position of sugar of nucleoside or a derivative thereof. There is still further provided a solid-phase support having the 3~-end nucleoside unit introduced therein, and provided a method of synthesizing a nucleic acid oligomer with the use of the solid-phase support. |
